While installation quality cannot reverse manufacturing deficiencies, it is integral to creating a monolithic refractory lining structure free of structural defects

I ensure that every application optimizes the physical properties of the constituent refractory. Selection of the proper application mode depends on multiple factors—job size, geometry, economics, and the specific technology required.

I evaluate these variables to deliver the most effective technical solution for your assets, supervising and certifying a full range of methods:

Brickwork & Masonry:

QA/QC supervision of lining systems, including support ring layout, anchor positioning, and verification of longitudinal and circumferential expansion gaps.

Gunning (Pneumatic Placement):

Control of nozzle techniques, air pressure, and water-to-material ratio to achieve optimum density and minimize lamination defects.

Casting & Pumping:

Supervision of the mixing and placement process, including water temperature, mixing time, and vibration control to minimize air entrapment and segregation in low-cement castables

Ceramic Fiber (RCF/AES):

Verification of module compression rates, anchoring patterns, and vapor barrier installation to prevent Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI).

Ramming & Plastic Refractories:

Verification of layer thickness and pneumatic ramming techniques to achieve optimum compaction and minimize internal voids
